In Nederfall, you are the leader of a survivor camp. Your primary tasks involve managing resources, upgrading your camp, and ensuring the well-being of your community. Send soldiers on missions to scavenge for crucial supplies, explore the ruins of civilization, and engage in combat with hostile survivors.

The World of Nederfall
Setting
It is 2040 in the Netherlands. The government has fallen and society has collapsed. Gangs and crime have had a chance to thrive so the country has become a dangerous place to live. Most of society has left but those who remain try to survive in the harsh environment that has remained of what was once a well-faring country full of culture and tradition.
Lore & History
In the years leading up to 2040, the Netherlands faced a series of unprecedented challenges that ultimately led to the collapse of its government and society. Rising sea levels, exacerbated by climate change, threatened the country's low-lying land, forcing mass evacuations of coastal areas and inundating urban centers. Economic instability, political incompetence, and social unrest further weakened the government's ability to respond effectively to these crises.
As the situation deteriorated, criminal syndicates and violent gangs seized control of key cities and strategic locations, exploiting the chaos to establish their dominance. With the government unable to maintain law and order, many law-abiding citizens fled the country in search of safety and stability elsewhere. Those who remained faced a daily struggle for survival in a landscape ravaged by environmental degradation, urban decay, and rampant lawlessness.
Gameplay Loop
Camp Management
Start by managing your camp of survivors. Assign survivors to different stations, build and upgrade buildings, craft items, cook meals, and farm produce.
Resource Scavenging
Gear up and send out soldiers on raids to specific locations to scavenge for essential supplies and resources. Maybe you will find some treasures.
Exploration & Missions
As your soldiers explore, they encounter abandoned buildings, wreckage, and other survivors. Complete missions to progress the story and unlock features.
Combat & Survival
Combat occurs when your soldiers encounter hostile survivors or other threats. They must fight using the gear and weapons you've provided them.
Return to Camp
After completing their mission, your survivors return to camp with gathered resources and loot. Use these to improve infrastructure and upgrade equipment.
Progression
With each successful mission, your camp advances. Expand the camp, build new structures, recruit more survivors, and unlock new abilities.
The cycle continues as you build, explore, and survive in the harsh post-apocalyptic world.
